This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes how Jamie Morris LLC, d/b/a Voice, Heart, Vision (“we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, discloses, and protects information collected from visitors and users (“User,” “you”) of voiceheartvision.com (the “Site”) and any related products or services we offer.

By using this Site, you agree to this Policy and to our Terms and Conditions. Please read both carefully before using the Site. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Information We Collect

Personal Data

Information that identifies you, such as your name, email address, phone number, or mailing address. You provide this voluntarily — for example, by subscribing to our newsletter, filling out a contact form, or registering for coaching services. You may browse the Site anonymously, and declining to provide Personal Data will not affect your ability to browse, though it may limit your ability to use certain features (such as contacting us or purchasing services).

Derivative Data

Information our servers collect automatically when you access the Site, including IP address, browser type, operating system, referring/exit pages, and the dates, times, and pages associated with your visit.

Financial Data

If you purchase services through the Site, payment details are collected and processed by our third-party payment processor, PayPal. We do not store full payment card or bank account information on our own servers. Review PayPal’s privacy policy at paypal.com/us/webapps/mpp/ua/privacy-full to understand how they handle your financial data.

Social Networking Data

If you interact with us via social platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn), we may receive limited public information from those platforms, such as your username or public profile information, consistent with that platform’s own privacy settings and policies.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

See Section 5, “Cookies and Tracking Technologies,” below.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and improve the Site and our coaching/editing services;
  • Respond to inquiries and provide customer support;
  • Process purchases and payments;
  • Send newsletters or marketing communications, where you have opted in;
  • Personalize your experience and recommend relevant content;
  • Analyze Site usage and trends in aggregate, non-identifying form;
  • Maintain the security of the Site and prevent fraud; and
  • Comply with legal obligations.

We do not use your Personal Data for any purpose materially different from those described above without notifying you.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your Personal Data for money. We share information only in the following circumstances:

Service Providers

We share information with vendors who perform services on our behalf, such as our payment processor (PayPal), email/newsletter platform, and website hosting provider. These providers are authorized to use your information only as necessary to provide services to us.

Advertising and Marketing Platforms

We use Facebook Ads and Google Ads (including Google Analytics) to understand Site traffic and, where applicable, to deliver relevant advertising. Sharing data with these platforms for advertising purposes may be considered a “sale” or “share” of personal information under California law (see Section 8). We do not otherwise sell, rent, or trade your Personal Data to third parties for their own independent marketing purposes.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose information where required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of others.

Business Transfers

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change in ownership or use of your Personal Data.

4. Newsletter

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your name and email address for the purpose of sending you updates, writing tips, and promotional content. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link provided in every email, or by contacting us directly. We retain a record of past subscribers for recordkeeping purposes even after you unsubscribe, but we will not send further marketing emails once you opt out.

5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies (such as web beacons and log files) to operate, secure, and improve the Site, and to understand how visitors use it.

  • Functional cookies: required for core Site features.
  • Analytics cookies (Google Analytics): help us understand traffic and usage patterns. You may opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
  • Marketing cookies (Facebook/Meta Pixel, Google Ads): used to measure and deliver advertising. You may opt out via the Network Advertising Initiative (optout.networkadvertising.org) or the Digital Advertising Alliance (optout.aboutads.info).

On your first visit, you will be asked to consent to non-essential cookies via our cookie banner. You may withdraw or change consent at any time using the “Manage Consent” option available on the Site. Disabling cookies may affect certain Site features.

6. Data Retention

We retain Personal Data only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Policy, or as required by law. Newsletter and account data is retained until you request deletion or unsubscribe. Data collected for a specific, limited purpose (e.g., a one-time inquiry) is retained only as long as needed for that purpose, after which it is deleted or anonymized.

7. Data Security

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your Personal Data from unauthorized access, use, alteration, or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. We will notify affected Users without undue delay in the event of a data breach affecting their Personal Data, as required by applicable law.

  • Request deletion of your Personal Data, subject to legal exceptions;
  • Correct inaccurate Personal Data;
  • Opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your Personal Data — which, under California law, may include sharing data with advertising platforms such as Meta/Facebook and Google for targeted advertising purposes, even where no money is exchanged;
  • Limit the use of sensitive personal information (we do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information beyond what is necessary to provide our services); and
  • Not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising these rights.

To opt out of the sharing of your data for cross-context behavioral advertising, contact us at VoiceHeartVision@gmail.com or use the cookie consent tool on the Site to disable Marketing cookies. We have not sold or shared Personal Data of consumers we know to be under 16 years of age.

If you are located in the EEA or UK, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and/or UK GDPR, including the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, and data portability, as described in this Section 8. Our legal basis for processing your data is your consent (for example, newsletter subscriptions and non-essential cookies) and our legitimate business interests (for example, operating and securing the Site). Where we transfer your data to the United States, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses and/or our certification under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, where applicable. [INSERT: confirm current transfer mechanism / DPF certification status before publishing.] You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.
