Consultations

Project Consultation
Best for:
getting started or getting unstuck
Whether you’re beginning a new project or feeling stalled, this 75-minute Zoom meeting addresses your writing goals, challenges, and direction. Find clarity and move forward with confidence. You may submit up to ten pages in advance for review.
Summer special: $75 (usually, $175), through August

Reviews and Assessments

First 50-page Review
Best for:
making a strong first impression
During this review, we’ll home in on your first 50 pages. Our 90-minute Zoom conversation, based on my editorial notes will help you identify issues, brainstorm solutions, and target next steps—all meant to position your work for success.
Summer special: $500 (usually, $750), through August

Manuscript Review
Best for:
big-picture feedback
A manuscript review offers a high-level perspective on your entire manuscript. Includes editorial notes and a two-hour Zoom meeting, in which we’ll discuss both manuscript strengths and areas that would benefit from development.

Full Developmental Edit
Best for:
a detailed road map for revision
Looks at character arc, pacing, narrative structure (fiction/memoir) and scope, organization, and audience (nonfiction). Streamline your revision, elevate your next draft! Includes editorial notes and a three-hour Zoom meeting.

Copy Edit
Best for:
final polish before submission
A careful, line-by-line correction of your manuscript for grammar, punctuation, spelling, and continuity. Usage is standardized to ensure clean, professional prose, with light attention to clarity and flow, while maintaining your original voice.

Best for: writers’ groups, workshops, and events.
